Cherry Poppin' Daddies Rocked the HYP Gala

Our Build the HYP: Zoot Suit Riot gala was a huge success! We want to thank everyone that came out - we hope you had a great time! We started the evening with a VIP reception for our sponsors. The VIP reception was marked by the lovely vocal entertainment of Ava Arenella, tasty appetizers, and delicious beverages. Our VIPs also go the chance to meet our other entertainers, Vintage 15 and Cherry Poppin' Daddies.

As he crowds began to arrive, Vintage 15 performed a variety of jazz standards from legends such as Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick, Jr., and Michael Bublé. Once the crowd was sufficiently warmed up, the Cherry Poppin' Daddies hit the stage with a bang! The dance floor was never empty - thanks, in part, to the dance lessons given before the big night. Daddy-Os were swinging their ladies all across the dance floor. And as expected, when the crowd began to hear the drum intro to Cherry Poppin' Daddies' hit song "Zoot Suit Riot" the crowd cheered with excitement and flooded the dance floor. It was truly a site to see! All the women with their skirts puffed by petticoats - the men with suspenders and fedora hats. What a great night!

In addition to an amazing show by Ava Arenella, Vintage 15, and Cherry Poppin' Daddies, we gave away some awesome prizes! Big congratulations to our winners!
